Advanced Dyeing Workshop with Debbie Tomkies
Saturday 10th November 2018 | 10am – 4pm
This workshop is designed for students who have been on Debbie’s introductory workshop and are keen to take their dyeing to the next level!
Explore new techniques including cake dyeing, speckles, veils, ombres and gradients, colourway planning, colour-matching and basics of colour theory.
You will dye samples and a 100g hank of natural fibre yarn to takeaway and make into something fabulous!
Skills level: In addition to students who have taken Debbie’s introductory workshop those who have some experience but want to know more about how to create fun new effects and how to get the results they want will also enjoy this exciting, colour-filled day!
Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day.
All materials are provided as part of the workshop.
