Join Debbie Tomkies on her fun, friendly beginner’s crochet workshop at the Yarn Barn, Milnrow. From holding the hook to making your first ‘granny square’ you’ll soon be hooking with confidence!
Learn to crochet with confidence in a small, friendly group at Judith’s lovely, well-stocked yarn emporium.
Cost: £35
Included: All the yarns you will need on the day and a crochet hook, tea/coffee and biscuits (please bring lunch or there is a nearby Spar, Greggs and Subway).
What will I make? You can expect to take home a crocheted scissor-keep lanyard, a crocheted corsage, small bow and one or more granny squares (Debbie has plenty of small projects to keep you busy!)
About the tutor: Debbie has over 25 years experience crocheting and has designed for Inside Crochet, Crochet Now, Yarn Forward, Simply Crochet and other crochet magazines. She has been teaching textiles all over the UK and overseas for over 10 years. See some of the feedback from her courses here
