10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Open Studios Altrincham
Please note: It’s half term so no class this week!
Our friendly weekly textile arts class is about experimenting and designing with textiles. Working with different threads, fabrics, dyes, materials and techniques, Debbie will support you to build up an understanding of how you can interpret textures, surfaces and ideas into works of art creatively and confidently. Try your hand at stitching, printing, felting, weaving and more!
Our group is small for a personal approach. Choose to work on a new project or technique under Debbie’s expert guidance or bring a project of your own to work on. Projects suit all abilities stretching the more advanced student and nuturing the beginner. All are welcome!
Suitable for: All levels, no experience needed
Materials required: Some materials are provided but students are welcome to bring their own materials or projects to work on. Additional materials will also be available to purchase.
Fee: The fee for members is £10 per session. Membership of the studio is £5 per month. By becoming a member you will be helping our charity (Altrincham Open Studios CIO) to fund the costs of running the studio, put on exhibitions and hold events for the local community to enjoy. Please ask for membership information when you come along to your first session or pop into the studio. Non-members are also welcome for £15 per session.
Refreshments: Tea/coffee and biscuits included
